DONT WAKE UP WITHOUT ALARM

by NANA464, Aug 27, 2008 09:11AM
I HAVE ALWAYS SLEPT TO LONG. I HAVE TO SET AN ALARM TO WAKE UP ON MY DAYS OFF OR I HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO SLEEP TILL 2-3 O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON. I DO NOT WAKE UP AND DECIDE TO STAY IN BED LONGER, IM NOT HAPPY WHEN I SLEEP THE DAY AWAY. HOWEVER I DO WAKE UP DURING THE NIGHT TWO OR THREE TIMES NOT KNOWING WHY AND DO GO BACK TO SLEEP BECAUSE THEN IT IS MUCH TO EARLY TO GET UP. I HAVE BEEN VERY FRUSTATED WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS PUTTING ME DOWN BECAUSE I DON'T WAKE UP IN THE MORNING. I DO TAKE 60MG OF PAXIL IN THE EVENING AND JUST STARTED A NEW DRUG FOR RLS. BUT NEITHER SEEM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IM THE SAME WITH OR WITHOUT.I HAVE TAKEN THE PAXIL FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, I ALSO WAS RECENTLY IN THE HOSPITAL AND WORE A PULSE OX WHICH WOKE ME CONSTANTLY BECAUSE MY SATS WOULD DROP BELOW 80. COULD THIS MAKE ME SLEEP TO EXCESS?
