Daytime sleep attacks, weakness and strange sensations

I continuously fall asleep during the day. Sometimes i can fight it but I'll eventually have to give in. I can feel refreshed for a couple of hours after i have a nap but then i feel tierd again. On one occasion whilst i was waking up the pinky on my right hand went numb and the room seemed to be washed a yellow colour. Sometimes i don't notice what I'm doing and i feel like I've fallen asleep standing up. I'm aware of whats around me I'm just sort of on Auto-pilot. Sometimes because I'm so tierd my legs feel really tierd too and it takes some effort to move them.
I'm not too sure what's up with me but it's disrupting my life as i had to sit out an exam because i was falling asleep on the paper and feeling a bit dizzy. There is a bit of a sagging sensation on one side of my face when I feel tierd and sometimes my knees will buckle and I'll have to sit down.
Does anyone know what's wrong with me?

Hello.

Well, you can not totally ignore the numbness and the washed wall. It may have been due to anemia, but you still have a major symptom of sleepiness. Did your doctor comment anything about the sleepiness ? Did you ask for a sleep study ?

So how did your appointment with the doctor go? Has a sleep study been done or advised?
Any medication prescribed? What probable diagnosis is the doctor keeping?

Hi
You need to get a sleep study done and see a sleep specialist. Discuss your problem in detail with him and also the treatment options. This should prove helpful. Goodluck.
