Extremely frightening night terrors-- help?

Hi, I'm a 21 year old female who has been experiencing night terrors for the past 9-10 months. Each terror happens within the first hour of sleeping, and are hyper-realistic. I've dreamt of a claw attached to a rope coming from the vent floating over my head, a man standing over me breathing heavily, multiple balls of string bouncing from the ceiling (like some kind of paranormal thing is messing with me), and the most recent one was a massive collection of spiders crawling all over my ceiling. I really do not understand what the ceiling is representing in my dreams.. any kind of advice would be helpful. I've gotten to the point where I'm afraid to fall asleep because I've become so frightened of my room and bed. This is not normal. Whenever a terror happens, I wake up screaming, sweating, having delusions of things that are not there but I'm convinced they are real. I've suffered with quite physical symptoms of PTSD since the sudden death of my mother (a year ago) and my sister physically attacking me (9 months ago). If anyone has any advice for overcoming fears I would very much appreciate it.
