HELP *** Would these levels of cortisol, seratonin, ephinephrine etc be causing insomnia etc ***

by sleepwanted, Mar 08, 2008 11:02PM
I have suffered from sleep disturbances, racing thoughts, inhability to fall asleep or maintain sleep and wake up feeling awful, headaches, sleep eating, low bp, poor memory, concentration, clumsiness etc... So I had these tests done and I dont have a doctor now so I was wondering if you could give me any leads into what might cause these levels etc. Thanks so much. I will use any suggestions when I go to the walk in clinic next time as I never see the same doctor.

I recently paid to have saliva test done and here are the results:

DHEA - 763.7 (10:44am)
- should be 200-400

Cortisol - 6.6 (10:44 am)
              1.4 (3:50 pm)
               0.7 (8:45 pm)
               0.7 (12:45 am)

should be: 2-4 am less that 1.0
7 am 7.0 - 10
noon 3.0 - 6.0
5 pm 2.0 - 4.0
10 pm less than 1.5

Epinephrine - 5.5 (10:38 am)
should be 8-12

Nor - epinephrine 31.6 (10:38 am)
Should be 35-50

Seritonine - 74.1 (10:38 am)
should be 150-200

Creatine 68.2

I also had a blood test done which revealed food sensitivities to yeast, cows milk, barley, rice, rye, wheat, cola nut, haricot and kidney beans, pineapple

A ultrasound of the heart showed a heart murmur too
