Nausea caused by withdrawal from Unisom?

by Scarlett23, Aug 27, 2009 05:46PM
I've been taking the sleep aid Unisom gelcaps for about 5 five years now. One a night. I've decided to stop taking it and this is the second day, will be third night without it and today, starting this morning I have been very nauseous and can't really keep any food down. Is this caused by withdrawal from taking Unisom? If so, how long will this last? Should I take one every other night and taper off? I'm pretty sure this isn't the flu or anything. I never get sick.
Thanks.
