One more thing, with young people, docs sometimes go straight to wanting to attribute it to lifestyle or even a psych issue. I would recommend if that happens to you that you be your own advocate and request a diagnosis not be assumed without formal testing. Just my "voice of experience".

Added to all these stress you are going through can be a trigger. Modafinil is a central nervous system stimulant used for the treatment of narcolepsy. It is also used for the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness caused by obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome and shift-work sleep disorder. It would be better to consult a sleep doctor and ask for sleep test before you chose to take any drug. Keep updating your thoughts in this section. Take care.
