RLS?

I never get any sleep, unless I take over the counter sleeping pills...It feels like I have RLS and well, the only other way I know how to describe how I feel at bedtime, is like I'm sort of wired (like on meth) and starting to come-down...I have no idea how many people there is that is actually going to know how that feels and will reply to me, but any advise or opinion would be awsome...I'm just wondering if there is anybody other then me that feels like this every single night? My doctor prescribed me Elevel (not sure if that's how to spell it) today, I just took it for the first time and it has not even been 10 minutes....Does anybody know anything about this sleeping pill....and your results from taking it, or if you know somebodys results from taking it?...Thanks for ANY reply....Melody

If you have RLS disturbing your sleep, you may have Periodic Limb Movement Disorder also. Have you had a sleep study? Has your doctor ordered a ferritin level? Others can chime in here, but generally dopamine agonists are used to reat this and sometimes Klonopin. Can't say I know how it feels to come down from meth, but before my limb movements were treated, my sleep was restless and even agitated, ever stuck somewhere between awake and asleep and unable to "cross over". My mind would have stuck thoughts, like a broken record, even when waking and falling back asleep. Is any of that what you experience?

I have not had any study or anything like that done because every time I talk to my doctor about it whom knows about my addiction problem to xanax and vicodin, she thinks I'm just trying to get pills....and yes, I have had the same problems youve had and quite a few more :(
