Sleep apnea?

I am a college student and recently I noticed that I do not sleep throughout the night I sleep for about three hours and wake up, then fall back sleep and get up in a few hours. Also, my drive home is about an hour and a half sometimes two hours and I always find myself dozing or at least getting very tired. In class, Sometimes I find myself falling asleep and it's only a 50 minute class. It is really effecting my grades because I can not concentrate. I'm not sure exactly what is going on but I don't think I've ever had this before. What should I do? Is this only me?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Looks like you are not getting adequate sleep. Inability to sleep could be problems with initiating sleep or maintaining sleep is called insomnia. Problems with breathing (Obstructive sleep apnea), certain medications, restless leg movements and sleep walking/talking could contribute to insomnia. Follow good sleep hygiene measures like going to bed at the same time, waking up at the same time, avoidance of alcohol, smoking and caffeinated beverages. Please consult your primary care physician if problem persists.
