WORRIED ABOUT MY DAD

by SUNNYK, Jun 03, 2009 08:49AM
i am very concerned about my dad. he is 60 yrs old healthy male, well he has had 7 back surgeries, but other than that no major health issues. he has some serious sleep issues. he will go to bed around 7:30, and wake up about 8:30 and about every hour until he finally gets up around 11-12 . this is after taking lunesta and tylenol pm's. how is it possible to wake up that soon after taking those kind of pills???   he maybe gets 2-3 hours of sleep a night and that is with waking up several times. he tries to take a nap during the day and can never fall asleep. he has tried everything on the market it seems, ambien, lunesta, rozarem, and many many more. im not sure how much more he can take physically and mentally. he is on disabilty due to his back problems, does not have insurance and i know he would never do a sleep study. any suggestions???
