Hi Oscargil, how are you doing? Please do give some more details regarding the spinal or cervical problems you are suffering with. Since when you do have these problems and have you consulted any doctor regarding the treatment? Have you got any investigations like x- rays, CT or MRI of cervical and back region? Rectal spasms could be secondary to nerve irritation. How frequently you wake up from your sleep at night and do you feel pain is the cause? You need to know, commonly when you are not keeping well and the stress you go through it can cause the sleep disturbance and so more when pain is likely there. Is better to seek advice from your doctor or a neurologist as you need evaluation. Take care and share your thoughts.
