Hi sammijo, how are you doing? Hope your sleep has improved a lot better by now and you might have even quit smoking as you had determined to do it? Is the doctor regularly followed you up for your sleep apnea and other illness? Are you taking any medications presently? Stress need to be overcome and as I had said, yoga and meditation is good means. Do continue exercises or get massage therapy. Hope you might have gone through the CFS forum also. Take care and update on your progress.

I was looking for a particular topic that was not available on MedHelp. I sent them a message requesting that they start one, and they did! You may want to try that. I looked around the topics for you, but could not find it listed in any of the more general topics. I was surprised, since it is not uncommon.
I would request that they start one.

Hi sammijo, thanks for your reply. How are you? Your determination to quit smoking is really great and highly appreciable. Can you give some information about the other illness and if you are taking any medicines presently? You need to have patience and relax most of time. Relaxation course like yoga and meditations can be tried if you can spare some time. A change in place and short outings with family can be helpful to relax and bring down stress. Physical therapy and massage therapy should be tried for couple of weeks. Follow a healthy sleep cycle regularly. Keep updating me if you get your sleep study and the advice thereafter. Take care.
I did not quit smoking and reduce the tremendous stress I was under ... I was having so many lung infections ... it has been 3 years, I still smoke, sometimes more than other times, stress related of course ... I did quit for about 5 years many years ago...I will quit again, I know I am getting ready mentally for it, so I know it is time.
