Dear sir, this is viswanath of 27 male from india, due to the bad experience in my life regarding the acidity, so still am not able to control my stress, if i have very silly problem also am not able to concentrate on it, i have an acidity problem since 2 years, now am taking a regular diet but some times i am fearing about my simple stress ( actually the problem i faced) even am not able to control, due to that i have used a sleeping pill for one month( now am stopped) now some times i feel more anxity, when it have i will lost my confidence, plz help me out from this problem.

Hi Ananth,
be cool, due to faulty food habits or having more spicy food at irregular time can cause acidity problem which also can become severe if stress either physical or mental privailse.Are you working for any BPO or under work pressure. Avoid having meals outside and try to have home made foods as far as possible. Antacids will give you temporary relief, continue the medication you are taking and once consult a Gastroenterologist for an Endoscopy which may be helpful in curing your problem.

Hi,

Although, your description of symptoms is not very clear, but it seems you have gastritis (increased acid production in stomach). Please let me know, if you have burning sensation in your food pipe and pain in stomach? does it get aggravated after taking meals?

You can try taking antacids (like mucaine gel, digene syrup) or medicines, which decrease acid production (Omeprazole, ranitidine).
