brain injury/sleepy clinical trial

by ljrscience, Nov 06, 2009 01:50PM
I thought your community might be interested in a clinical research study now enrolling people with a past head injury who feel sleepy during the day.  This study is going on at various centers around the US; go to this website for more information: http://www.headsleepstudy.com/.

Do you know if they are performing research for brain injury causing insomnia?  It is a hypothesis I have shared with my Dr.   I have had insomnia for over 20 years.  It started a couple of years after a fairly serious car accident in which I was unconscious for at least 20 minutes.
