I read that sleeping on one's back facilitates sleep apnea,
that it means that if i sleep on my side, as recommended to patients,
i won't get sleep apnea at all, or
does this just reduce chances to have it?
Reduces symptoms in obstructive sleep apnea, but not central. I dont think it reduces your chances of getting it, just helps with oxygenation and is the ideal sleep situation. However, it is not for everyone.
