Hello.

Stress at home is a big factor. Can you sort things out at home ?

Do you feel you should be talking to someone about it ? You might as well write here. This forum is a good place to sort things out.

Hello.

I can understand what you must be going through. A practical solution will be to speak to the school teachers/principal about it and find out what is the cause of her stress. Is it studies, or some other reason? Is she afraid of a particular teacher?

Her stomach ache can be seen as a way to avoid school. She gets apprehensive of the coming morning when she has to leave you and go to school. She seems quite attached to you. How does she react when you have to leave her and go away for a few days?

I would like to ask how she has been in studies.

Regards

Hi,

Yes your guess about the stress at school causing these problems could be right. Talk to her slowly and a little everyday about this.

Let her know that she can talk to you about any problems she is having and you would be there to support her.

See if reading a book or listening to soft music just before sleeping helps.

Also make her to go to bed at the same time daily, allow less of television and video and computer games.

Does she play outdoors in the evenings? That should help her relax.

If her symptoms still persist, talk to the school counsellor.

Do keep us posted on how she is doing.
We hope she gets back to her normal self soon.
Good luck.
