i see spiders when i wake up

I'm another one of those who sees spiders after waking up... usually i see them dangling from the roof or crawling on the walls. And this happens after a nights sleep.. almost each day... did anyone find out y this happens & if theres any remedy for this.

Im not on any medications, neither do I have any sleep issues!!!

It happens to me too. When I wake up i see spiders crawling on the wall, and my heart is racing. I get freaked out. They're all different types, and sometimes I see them on me. But then, I take a look at them for a bit, and I notice that they aren't real. It happened to me a bout 3 times before. And once, I even woke up hearing and seeing a swarm of bees in my room. It takes me about a minute or 2 to notice that they aren't real. Its a sleeping disorder.

The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to an entity called Hypnagogic hallucinations, which are hallucinations that occur between sleeping and waking. This is the symptom of a sleep disorder called Narcolepsy. This sleep disorder is characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep paralysis, cataplexy where the person has episodes of loss of muscle function while awake, hypnogogic hallucinations and automatic behavior. You will need to consult your primary care physician, who may schedule you for a polysomnogram (sleep test) to rule out sleep disorders and initiate appropriate therapy.
