night heat sensation

by madler, Dec 11, 2007 01:16PM
After falling asleep, I wake up through the night from heat sensation where ever my body is touching the mattress.  I do not sweat, it is just like I am lying on a heating pad.  My Dr. wants me to go see a nuerologist.

Hello.

This may be related to either a neuropathy, or some other problem of the central nervous system. A Neurologist will be the right person to consult.

Hope you find the answers to your questions.

Hi,
Does this sweating and heat sensation occur only at night? Heat intolerance and excessive sweating can occur in thyroid problems also.
