well my pulmonary doc added 3 litters of concentrated oxygen and raised cpap to 16..i can tell now that the pressures up only the 1 point..so should i be asking for another o2 test to see if the o2 lebes are were there suppose to be???..what i dont get is why they never gave me oxygen the 2nd sleep study.. i took it upon myself to drop 60 pounds in the last 14 month's  no change in the apneas..i had over 200 apneas..and so manny hypo apneas..?? this will be my 3rd night on the oxygen..will it take a wile to feel alot better..i do sleep more without waking..i getr tired easy of ther day meds i take on pain killers and others al from dockys!!  i dont think there taking this serious..im concerned..i use to trust docs now not so sure...any help  thanks

What other health conditions do you have in addition to OSA? Are any of the medications sedatives that you take before sleep?

Oxygen levels should always be higher than 90 and with a drop like yours there is certainly cause for concern. Has your doc given you any reason for the O2 drops?

Technicians at sleep centers are not doctors and legally cannot give you any treatment without an order from a doctor which is why they did not add oxygen during your second study.
