try my fetal stretch. I have been suffering with severe restless legs syndrome for 35 years. A month ago, I accidently found a method to eliminate the symptoms for approximatel 24 hours. I call it the fetal stretch and it has changed my life. When i feel the symptoms resuming, i simply lay on my side, get into a very tight fetal position, really stretching the back and legs, hold for 2 minutes, release, and symptoms disappear for about 24 hours.
I blelieve it is the stretching of the back that is doing something.
I am now on a mission to tell as many people as possible. Ionly wish i had discoveed this many years ago. So many years of suffering!
Good luck
Hi, welcome to the forum, tingling sensation generally is a result of conditions that affect the nerves and/or blood vessels that supply to that area. Numbness of the area is often associated with tingling. This is referred to as paresthesia.
The various reasons for numbness are vitamin B12, B1 and B6 deficiency, nerve injury, diabetic neuropathy, cervical sponylosis, frostbite, peripheral vascular disease, hypothyroidism etc.
Restless leg syndrome is unlikely. For confirmation you can check your sugar level, thyroid status etc. You may have to take vitamin B-complex supplements. You may go for food challenge test to rule out food allergy and avoid further exposure. I suggest you to consult physician/allergy specialist. Take care and regards.
Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is the compulsive feeling to constantly move or "pump" your legs and/or arms. I have yet found any sleeping medication that took it away. I use Mirapex, which is not a sleep med., but more a muscle relaxant. It can only be prescribed by a physician, so I recommend you see your doctor for this complaint.
It kinda feels like creepy crawly sensation on your legs? Well, this sounds alot like restless leg syndrome, and they have other meds for this like Requip, ask your MD about this and if your symptoms sound like you have this and you can start to sleep better! Good Luck!
