why is my 5 year old wetting the bed

my daughter will be 5 next month. she  has been potty trained since about 2. she has never had a problem wetting the bed untill the last week. she has wet the bed now every night now. I do not let her drink anything a hour befor bed and also take  her to the bathroom  in the middle of the night but  neither have helped. what  can be causing this?

This is developmental issue. Eventually she will outgrow it. I recommend two things.
1. Go to a doctor and make sure she has no bladder infection or medical condition.
2. Get a bedwetting alarm. I personally like the Chummie bedwetting alarm.

I doubt the problem is sleep related, you my find more help on a different community dealing with children.

Think if you can identify anything that might have troubled you daughter just before the bed wetting started...must be something that caused her to lose control.  Does she have any other new/strange behavior?
