One foot forward in that direction leads to another right out that door. Smoking is addictive and addiction leads to more and more and more. Use of one cigarette, one of anything addictive isn't harmless. It is the threshold to addiction. Nicotine happens to be the most addictive substance known. Smoking causes cancer yeah, yeah, yeah we hear it all the time. Smoking does a lot more than that, to include the equivalent of literally stuffing a lit fire cracker in your brain. The problem is that such things don't knock you down right then and there and so we continue to do it. It is a trap, get out of it now....(!)

Hi!
Any number of cigarettes is harmful. Yes, the more you smoke the more it will be harmful. However, even a single cigarette contributes. Since you are not smoking that much now, please give up the habit now, when it is easier to quit smoking. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
