Insomnia ill wake up at 3am and not be able to get back to sleep untill about 7am if its the weekend i can go back to sleep but in the week ill be up for work. Dizzy, sick feelings and its just horrific.i had my heart tested by the doctor 4 times also see a cardiologist and he said my heart was ok. Also had a chest xray and had no come back. They took my bloods for tests. Ive been smoking 15 years heavy. I just wanted to no if anyone else has recently quit due to pains or acid reflux? Also is my symptons normal? OK, sorry about misinterpreting your post about the weight loss.  Well, nicotine withdrawal's a major shock when done abruptly by a heavy smoker (hence the popularity of doctors prescribing nicotine patches or nicotine gum [the latter's available OTC in many areas] to help take the edge off nicotine withdrawal symptoms).

However, my uncle went the nicotine gum route and while he stopped smoking, he was chewing the gum for over ten years (you're supposed to just use it as a transition to not consuming nicotine at all).

Losing 32 lbs in 13 days, along with coping with nicotine's absence, represents your body is under massive shock, an extremely unhealthy situation imo.  Assorted and varied symptoms seem likely enough.
