TY for your response, it has been 35 days feeling a little better but very tired & somewhat depressed. I don't think I would have been able to do this w/o the electronic cig. Wishing you all the best on your journey.

I quit smoking almost 9 days ago and it is very hard. I have been laying in bed a lot. I'm only thirty and smoked almost twenty years more than a pack a day. I quit cold turkey with no help from anything. The first few days were the worst, yesterday was ok but then today I really felt bad. Lots of anxiety!! If your e cig has nicotine I would be careful as most of the e fluid with nicotine is way more than you used to get from cigs if you puff it a lot. My nephew just brought me one today thinking it might help me lol. NO nicotine in it at all of course. I have vanilla, cake batter, and red box tobacco flavones but all nicotine free!! I puffed it a little and with no nicotine it still helps a lot after eating. I'm sure I'll puff it too whenever I'm driving.

You really don't want nicotine replacement at all though because your still going to have to withdrawal off of it eventually. Even if you slowly step it down your just making the withdrawals last even longer. Well if I can be of any assistance or you just want someone to talk to don't hesitate to message me. Good luck with you quit and don't worry you WILL feel better, it just takes time :)

congrats on 28 day awesome......I too have been a smoker for 50 yrs and need to stop real soon, the damage has been done and that won't change but I just want to stop all the coughing and sob..

first of all I have quit before and I too felt yucky, they say this is common as all that junk is coming out of our systems..also we are more prone to bronchitas and other lung infections while this cleansing is taking place, AND depression....I know I get very depressed.

the e-cigarettes you are using do they contain nicotine? do you think perhaps you are taking in even more of it than you did while smoking?
I've never used them, always patches or gum and I know I can get very light headed b/c I tend to over use especially the first while..

good luck and keep on working this the horrible feelings will end and you will feel much better eventually:)
