Chantix Anyone?

I recently quit with the help of Chantix, It's been 43 days and still going strong. This is the first time in 25 years that I've been smoke free.
Although the medicine is expensive, I spend no more on it than I did on the cigarettes. The only side effects for me are the  crazy and vivid dreams, which really don't bother me. If I take the medicine on an empty stomach it really disturbs my belly and I get wicked gas. Sorry I had to bring up the flatulence.
Has anyone else quit this way? I'm still having cravings but they seem to pass after a minute or so. What do you do to keep the cravings at bay and not give in to them?

Thanks for your input. I've started walking to get some cardio and notice how much better I am breathing. I don't huff and puff when I climb three flights of stairs at home. That in itself is worth it to me.
Congrats on your year of  "smobriety" ! I had a friend who says he's smober now and I got a kick out of his humor.
Enjoy your day.

I just wanted to add too, you should deep breathe several times a day. Once you quit smoking, your not deep breathing like you did when you smoked, which might cause an onset of the craves? I heard that somewhere and it totally made sense to me. So deep breathing when you get a crave helps.

As far as the cravings. Dont fight them, time them, use them to realize why you are going to the extent you are to get off the nicotine. Amazingly they go by real fast! And every one you conquer means success and puts them further apart and you closer to your freedom, so learn to look at them as a stepping stone or a tool instead. At least it works for me and before long, you will not even think about smoking cause they get fewer and further between . I am a year out and rarely think about them now. I nver thought I would ever say that as I ws 2 pak a day for 35 years.
