E-Cigarettes "A Healthier Alternative" to Real Cigarettes?

I've enjoyed less coughing and sneezing and my Asthma has got better since substituting about 50% of real cigarettes with E-Cig's

These things deliver nicotine via an atomizer as you suck on the end of the cigarette-looking device.

NO smoke
NO Tar
and None of the 3,000+ chemicals that have been found in real cigarettes(Verified by FDA,FDA,FTC and many private watchdog groups)

So the question is, Considering the horrible health effects from Real cigarettes can I conclude that E-Cig's are a Healthier Alternative to real cigarettes>>????

alond w/other issues i have copd tried everything on market to quit even laser nothing worked for me.i know ecigs are not fda approved but in my opinion i believe they can't be worse than real cigs.i have been looking @ alot of sights to figure out which company /what kind is best so many to choose from i'm confusedsome say battery don' last long not enough smoke different stater kits liquid vapor vs cartrides im at a loss.if you can give me some feedback on what kind u got what knowlege u have on how this whole dam thing works i would greatly appreciat it.

Inhaling nicotine from these e-cig devices would be as harmful as albuterol inhalers in fact e-cig might be safer than albuterol inhaler since albuterol frequently causes your lungs to internally bleed.

And the only reason our government wants to ban e-cigs is because they're not "tobacco products" and not subject to those extreme tax rates cigarettes receive. It's all about tax revenue, same reason all 'illegal' drugs remain illegal, no taxation.

I believe that the FDA wouldn't give approval but it was overturned by a judge. It is not known as a "quitting aid" but as another smoke product. I did a little research and saw some offered nicotine and some didn't. Regardless, e-cigs have other ingredients.

I would love to know how long a "kit" lasts? What is the daily, weekly, monthly cost?

At some point, people will have to acknowledge that smoking is bad, harmful and could kill.
My opinion, it's just another way to make money off of those who are still smoking.
Axelrose, Jade made a great point.....I don't know anyone who was successful at weening or cutting back. Good luck!

I suppose if you really Must smoke, this is a healthier alternative, clearly.  Although, I don't believe these e-cigs have been approved by the FDA, but I could be wrong.  "Verified" and "Approved" are two different things.

Oh, I see you mean you're still smoking, just using the e-cig half the time.  Okay, well, good luck with that.
