I was a pack a day for 20 years - Read the "Easy Way to Stop Smoking" and its been a pleasure to finally quit smoking.  I can't believe I didn't stop sooner.  Its not the 'easiest' thing the world.  But certainly not actually 'hard'  heroin addicts are double over in pain - the worst thing that has happened to me is that I really really really want a cigarette.  No pain.  Its a myth and 80% psycological that its hard to quit.  We just need to rememeber we don't want a cigarette - we want to inject nicotine into our bodys via a ciagrette.  And if we inject the nicotine into our bodys - that will jus make us want to inject more nicotine into our bodies.  So we just have to pull the plug and stop.

Just read "The easy way to stop smoking by allen carr" - chaper one says - "keep smoking - just read the book."  Its fear that keeps us smoking.  And there was nothing to be scared about - I like being a non smoker much better then being a smoker.  Do I want to go have a cigarette - Probably, but then I will just want to go smoke 1,000 cigarettes so whats the point.  I'm done with those stupid things and I feel much better.

You can do it but you will need a plan and may need some tools to get you though. Ask your Dr for help. I am on WB and it really has reduced the WD pain to manageable levels. It also keeps you from overeating as much which is a big problem when you first quit.

If you REALLY want to quit and use some of the tools you can make it !
