Are of any these symptoms of nicotine withdrawal? I did not find these things as symptoms of withdrawal on websites. If they are due to nicotine withdrawal, how long does these symptoms last for? I have not been coughing, which people tell me I would be doing.
I'm not familiar with nicorette withdrawal but none of your syptoms (symptoms) sound typical. Perhaps the stiff neck is from tension?
There are hundreds of chemicals in a cigarette so it would make sense that our body has to adjust to not only the lack of nicotine, but also the other things.
When in doubt, go see your doctor.
Congratulations on your quit!

You sound like you are doing fine except for some itchiness which doesn't sound related. One piece of nic gum every other day? no habit there and not everyone coughs after quitting, I didn't
My right side of my shoulder and neck are killing me day 5 without nic patch or gum ,headaches, nausea.and really bitchy at times!Oh ya and can't sleep very well.
So sorry "j." I am not a doctor, but I do know that when I am stressed, my entire upper body is rigid, without me knowing it, and when I relax just a bit, my whole body hurts : ( Tension could be the culprit so make sure you cut out everything caffeine (for a while) and do things that will help you relax, i.e. warm bath, calm music, scented candle, long leisurely walk, trip to beach, good movie in the recline position....anything that will distract your mind from the thoughts.
You're going to get through it, I promise you. Just go to some happy places in your head and stay strong ; )
I'm here if you need me.
