Hey there,

You know, if one can stand the side effects, I would imagine that ALL the nicotine aids work, but as Kathy Jo pointed out, you have to be ready.

You can't be thinking about what will happen if you smoke on them because you're not supposed to!  Plus, that's why you're using an aid to begin with.  To STOP SMOKING!

Now.  Are you ready?  Then put that patch on and make that day the last day you pick up a cigarette.  It won't work any other way, my friend.

We will be here for you, but it's YOU who must decide that you're done.

Good Luck!

The patch is one of the most popular methods for quitting. As with any quit aid there are bound to be some side effects. These should be listed on the pakage. As for smoking while on the patch, you are not supposed to do it. Could it cause a heart attack......well, given that you are taking in twice the amount of nicotine, anything is possible.
You really have to prepare yourself mentally for this quit......don't wear the patch until you are ready to never pick up another smoke. Nothing works when you half-a$$ it so make up your mind to put them down for good and just do it!
If I did it, anyone can! I smoked for 38 years without ever quitting. Never a day went by that I hadn't smoked a pack. No one depended more on their cigs then me. So, what worked for me was to really, really reading the materials at whyquitdotcom.
Good luck!
