I quit yesterday and started a champix course last night (didn't do the smoking whilst on champix and then set quit date, just gave up) is it ok to do this? Ie not following the set quit date whilst on champix?
Also, how quickly can the depression related to champix affect you as I am feeling awful right now?
I smoked for the first 10 days after I started with the Chantix. By day 10 I lost the desire to smoke and it's now been 43 days.
If you are feeling depressed that could be a side effect from the medicine. I personally would not wait to see if it passes, I would seek medical advice asap.
All the best and keep up the good work!
