When quitting u go thru lots of phases..there is the physical aspect..then there is the obsession..not to mention the cravings..the smell could be from anything around u that retained the smoke.could also be from the addiction..addiction is treatable not curable.it still lives in u even after quitting..in 1o yrs a desire to smoke will pop up..then u will know what I'm talkin about

If you smoked in the house, you may need to paint the walls to cover the smell. This can be fun, new color, and new you :) Wall-paper really seems to trap the smell in too. I had to clean the heck out of my room to get rid of that smell. Let us know what works.
I have heard people say this before. When you first quit did you wash your walls, clothing, bedspreads etc to get the odor out of your home, your car? Your sense of smell comes back strong after quitting and the norm is more that people can smell it on others, in their homes or even around store fronts before even getting to the store. Last time I quit I was very aware of the smell and it was quite nasty. Now this time around, I stills smell it and it still smells nasty but still yet triggers a crave in me sometimes still. Wierd! But if tht doesnt fit your situation Im not sure what it could be and let us know if you find an answer ok?
