U do not need insurance, when you are ready, lay em down. You have to be mentally ready to do this or will not succeed. In all fairness, how hard or easy it is going to be for you is why you smoke to begin with, do your friends smoke, do you smoke at work. does your significant other smoke? It does take a strong will and maybe if you do not succeed the first time, maybe the second. Do not beat yourself up, go to whyquit.com and read, when you are ready, do it.
what are u talking about, if u want to quit u can quit anyway, u have payed for ur cigarettes triple more in these years u smoked, I am a student- paying 3000 a year for my studies, I even do not have money to pay for my rent and I still find some money for Nicotine and other supplements because I want to quit, I think u need stronger will to quit - insurance is not an excuse!
But Jean, if you think about it, you're probably spending a whole lot more on cigs than you ever will on any nicotine replacement.
I used the lozenge for my quit in 07. I don't remember what the cost was, but it certainly wasn't $150 for a months worth which is approximately what a pack a day smoker pays monthly.
Good luck to you!
Try going to an online pharmacy. I did and saved over 60% on the gum. Its legal. They offer the off brands as well as the name brands. The savings are incredible and cost much less than smoking does. S & H is sometimes free and there's NO tax. Shop around for the best price. Just Google "Nicotine Gum" or online Pharmacy. The place I went with was from New Zealand and had the name brand Nicorette gum (fruit flavor) for a" life saving" (lol) price !! These places have lozenges and other alternatives as well. Good luck , Burrpatch
NYC offers free gum/lozenges or patches for those interested. Your state may offer the same.
You might want to look into whyquitdotcom and try the cold turkey method. It seems that most people prefer it as it is over in 3 days opposed to lingering on over a period of time.
Good luck!
