Have you tried Chantix?  If you have ins go to your doctor and ask him for chantix.  It's a rx designed to block the nicotine receptors.  You smoke while taking the med the first week and then you stop smoking, but continue the medicine.  After the first week you will notice the cravings are mental but not so much physical.  You can google "chantix" and you can learn more about it.  I am 30 and have smoking since 12, it's the hardest habit to break.  I tried chantix and felt it working, the cigarettes actually started to make me feel a little ill.  I feel I would have had great success, but was unable to afford the second refill.  It's a pretty expensive drug and I don't have health ins.  But I tried patches and herbals, the only thing that even had a chance of working was the Chantix.  Please give it a shot.  W/o ins I think it was $200 for the month, but that was a few years ago, it could be less now.  Most insurances will cover this med.  Give it a try.  Good Luck!
