My two year old son was put into EI when he turned 1. He was delayed in oral communication as well as fine motor skills. At 18 months he no longer need fine motor but has been in for a speech delay.
As I said he just turned 2 on July 18th 2010. He seems to play well, turns his head when called although if the tv is on it may not be all the time. He does throw a tantrum once in a while but I normally know what caused it. I feel that if he was talking that would reduce.
He hates getting his hair cut or his nails trimmed. But he does not mind when Mommy does his hair as much. He also does not mind playing rough or physical contact.
He does point to what he wants and he knows about 25 words (although he does not say them all the time).
