High, squeaky voice post trauma

by Maddywl, Oct 18, 2009 07:04AM
I am a 15 year old girl, and basically my sister and I were mucking around and I spat a mouthful of sprinkes at her. So she attemped to strangle me (kind of like Homer does to Bart in The Simpons) and my voice went really high and squaky. It sounds like I'm on helium or I'm a chipmunk. My Adams apple hurts a bit (yes, girls do have them), and my mums seems to think my voicechords have gone into a spazzam or something. I am quite concerned because it hasn't gone away after a few hours and I don't want to talk like this for the rest of my life!  Please help!
