How long is a typical speech therapy

Im 22 already but i need therapy to correct my problems regarding the pronunciation of the "s" sound. I had teeth at the roof of my mouth, retainers and braces for most of my life (one at at time though) thats why I pronounce "s" sounds as "sh".

I just want to know how long will it take to correct it?

Hi there,

Welcome to the speech & language disorders forum.

The length of time in therapy is extremely variable. It depends mostly on the client--how much homework you do, how stimulable you are for the sound, etc. It could be anywhere from 6 weeks to several years.
