Hey guys my name is Mathew and I have been struggling with this problem for awhile. It wasn't until this year that it started to get really bad. What happens is that I would be trying to speak to someone and I just can't get words out. For example I would be try to say "how is your day?" And it would sounds fine in my head but then when I try to express it verbally I would end up saying "how was you....(my super long pause)r day?" I know what I want to say it's just that my mouth won't allow me to say it. I can't even have a normal conversation with people without feeling humiliated. Everyone says that I don't have a problem but I know I do. I know what I want to say but my mouth just doesn't let me. Someone would ask me my name and I would be like "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Athew" I just can't say things 75% of the time without looking stupid.
