What is Tethered Spinal Cord Syndrome?
   Many with  this condition may not be aware of it until an MRI of the lumbar spine is done. Typical issues that can lead one to suspect TCS is a sacral dimple, or hairy patch on the lower back, growing pains mostly in the lower extremities. But what is this condition and what does it mean for me?

"...Tethered spinal cord syndrome is a neurological disorder caused by tissue attachments that limit the movement of the spinal cord within the spinal column. These attachments cause an abnormal stretching of the spinal cord....."
