noxious factors for spasticity

I have met w/ two physiatrist and both have told me that once they can find the noxious factor that is causing my spasticity (Mostly tone & stiffness) that my sysmtoms can be reversed....is this true?

I had a SPI @ C4-5 on July 15, 2012 and my Tone has been increasing over the last 4 weeks...not sure why. Dr. just ran an EMG test and it came up negative.

  EMG's r done to look for pinched nerves.......and I am sure that was the thought behind the testing to see if the symptoms u have r a result of pinched nerves...when it is neg, it can imply a neuro issue.
I had a EMG to confirm my symptoms were  the result of a dx and not pinched nerves, my test was neg as well, meaning my Dx was the cause of my issues.
