I am scheduled to have a synovial cyst removed this Thursday. I have suffered for a year with this. I am unablew to sit, or put any kind of pressure on my left hip, pain is constant. What I want to know is how long does the surgery take? Will I notice the difference right away, also how much pain will I be in afterwards?
Hi...I am not familiar with this surgery, but I have had a few different surgeries and I can tell u this it really depends on u and how u normally heal...if u r slow to heal or if u bounce back quickly ....
I do have a condition that causes me to heal slower then most...but I have had surgeries where I feel I came back pretty fast pain wise.
The other issue is what the Dr may find once inside....sometimes there r issues they can not see or anticipate from a MRI.
Ur Dr will be better to give u a time frame, keep in mind this is a general time frame and one does not fit all....listen to ur body and express all concerns to ur Dr.
Sending u good vibes ~~~~ and prayers for ur surgery and to those in charge of ur care....and healing MoJo for a smooth recovery.
