My Dad is the father of seven children He is now a great great grandfather at age 82. He comes from honest, strong willed, hard working country folk. Dad served two terms in the U S Army Air Corps as a waist gunner on a B-29 and then as a weather observer at Barksdale Air Force Base. I've seen my Dad knock a squirrel out of a tree at 30 yards with a .22 rifle. He is a college graduate, an avid fisherman, the best guitarist I've personally ever known, a great gardener, a former business owner...and a wonderful Father. Dad related to his children the joy of music. We sing in three part harmony and play musical instruments because of him. Dad taught us love...the love of God, country, community, and family. Most of all, Dad showed us that you never stop being a parent...that you love unconditionally...and always. I love you, Dad. Thankfully, I will get to see you today.
