Intrusive thoughs

by Em79, Jan 15, 2008 06:14AM
Hi
I am a youth worker, whom has been poorly supported and supervised in my role. Since having a short break over Christmas. I have been suffering from intrusive thoughs about my children whom I love and would never hurt. I feel that this is due to the extreme stress I suffered in my role last year. Could this be true
Thanks em

What is the nature of your intrusive thoughts? How are things going in the rest of your life? Do you have positive relationships and outlets? I understand you care for the children, but do you like your job and the people you work with?

I know what you mean, I have had thoughts like this also for people I love very much. I don't know what its from either, but I hate it.
