Shingles due to stress....

My husband just found out today he has shingles due to stress.  The doctor gave him acyclovir to treat the shinlges which are located on his back.  I have never had the chicken pox, and I'm almost 25 yrs old.  Can I touch my husband?  Can we sleep in the same bed?  Or will this cause me to have chicken pox???  Thanks!!

A family member of mine also had shingles.
We lived in the same house and there wasn't
any spread or such.

If I'm not mistaken, shingles happen to be
a reaction due to a change in the nervous system.
If it's neurological, I don't see how it can be
contagious.
