I don't want to sound like a broken record, but since you're so young I really think you should contact Dr. Vasa at www.brainstrokes.com and ask if her program can still help you 8 years after. It's a home program and some people have gotten results they weren't able to get with traditional physical therapy. My husband (also hemorrhagic, but more recent than yours) has just started it, and is not even doing the full program yet (because of possible other health problems) but even so our experience has been very promising.
You ask about recovery, my opinion is that it's possible. my research is in the effects of sound waves on the human body. Also the attention you receive is vital for recovery. Being on the internet it's too difficult to explain in writing. But may i suggest that you obtain various types of music or chants, such as Native American, that is to your liking. Deep sounds are related to physical recovery, mid sounds are more associated with emotional recovery as higher pitch sounds are more in line with mental recovery. There is much involved in recovery from a major stroke. But it is possible. Sounds, as science knows, has great effects on plant life, so much so that plants can grow well or even die according to the sounds used.
i haven't been able to complete my research as my own love had a major stroke which i applied my methods to. The result was she lived, she also obtained feeling throughout her body but i was forced to leave before i could complete my therapy as i lost all funds to proceed. i strongly believe that if i were permitted to continue she could have had a better recovery.
i hope this helps you, atleast look into it, what do you have to lose ?
Sincerely Meleki Romano
