Am I OK?

by Sarge8488, Nov 02, 2005 12:00AM
For a couple months my left arm rises to heart level by itself.  I have not had a stroke that I am aware of but find this increasingly odd.  I am 51 years old and in good health.  My Grandfather was a stroke victim but don't really know much about it beyond that.   Should I be concerned?

During my TIA, my left arm floated up by itself and the neurologist said it is called "floating limb" and is seen in some stroke victims. I believe there are people that have had a small stroke and don't realize it. I would see your doctor...just to be safe.
