BRAIN STEM STROKE PROGRESS

by bnec2, Nov 09, 2009 01:53PM
I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAD A BRAIN STEM STROKE THE FIRST OF AUGUST.  FROM HIS SHOULDER DOWN ON HIS LEFT SIDE WAS AFFECTED.  HE FELT LIKE THEY WERE TINGLING AND NUMB AND LOST THE BLANCE & CO-ORDINATION FOR THAT SIDE OF HIS BODY.  ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO THE FEELING IN HIS FOOT CHANGED.  NOW HE EXPLAINS IT AS IF HIS FOOT WAS MADE OF PLAYDOUGH.  ABOUT 4 DAYS AGO HE SAID HIS LEFT ARM FROM THE ELBOW DOWN HAS STARTED TO FEEL LIKE HIS FOOT DOES.  HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED ANYTHING SIMILAR AND IF SO, WAS IT A SIGN OF HEALING OR GETTING WORSE?
