Bilateral Rectal Palsy

by SidJim, Jan 01, 2005 12:00AM
My 50 year old husband learned through an MRI that he had a lacunar stroke three days ago which caused Bilateral Rectal Palsy.  We hear this is extremely rare and are unable to find any information about rehabilitation. He is treating his newly discovered high blood pressure and wearing an eye patch.  Is there anything else he can do to improve his condition?  Where might we find someone with experience treating others with this same condition? He is an active and fit individual, however, was treated two years ago for colon cancer with chemo and radiation.  Any connection?  Thank you!
