Blocked corotid areteries, is it safe to fly?

Hi,

My 74 year old Mother suffers from :
1. High blood pressure
2. Lupus
3. Mild Emphysema
4. Blocked carotid arteries with a 75% and 85 % blockage

Medications:

1. Iscover
2. Atacand

Is it safe for her to fly for approximately 6 hours?

Well the Dr. should explain that there are four arteries feeding the Circle of Willis which supplies blood to the brain. He/she would be able to tell if the blood flow present is enough to keep the brain running.
