Could numbness

by tictac44, Aug 13, 2005 12:00AM
My husband has some numbness & tingling down his left arm that he says has throbbing feeling. He also says that the left side of his head (back side) has same feelings as arm with some burning sensation that comes & goes with the tingling sensation.

Could this be caused also from a pinched nerve. He did say that at one time he was told that he had a pinched nerved on that side and that it would fix itself which it did but could it slip again?

Or could this be symptons of a stroke? Can a family practioner tell him what this is or should he see certain specialist.
Thank you for your time.
