My wife had leg movement problem due to stroke. After six months of medicine that problem is over but now she had dementia. Is it possible that dementia may be side effect of medicines? The age of my wife is 70.

Or result of another stroke ? Doctor gave medicine for depression. Medicine did not have appreciable effect. I am feeling that dementia may be due to purely psychological reasins. Is it possible that dementia can be like that?
