Anyway, I have right side weaknessWeakness, but after a month of PTPost-traumatic stress disorder/OT that seems bearable. I am not a blacksmith or anything so I can live with some weaknessWeakness. What has gotten worse since I left the rehab hospital and went back to work last week is the dizziness. I saw the neurologist Monday and he said it was mostly due to visualVisual acuity test field overflow. Yeah, I get it. In busy rooms, my office, cars, etc. I get pretty dizzy and my depth perception gets really messed up. I suppose this is normal, but it seems to be getting worse. I think it is because of more visual stimulation and fatigue, but who knows.
The Dr. was not much help, and I guess I should feel good to be here. The deal is that I am the sole provider for my 8 year old and in a highly competitive corporate sales job. They have been really great about my recovery, but at some point if I cannot do my job I don't know what will happen.
Anyway, any tips or advice? Does the dizziness go away? I would take more muscular weakness not to be dizzy. I have been reading up on vestibular therapy, but the field seems pretty specialized and not very accessible.
Thanks for reading my rant if you do, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
